iPhone Apps by Transech
Transech currently has iPhone applications developed for Microsoft CRM. We are presently developing other applications that you will soon find on the App Store. These applications will be showcased here as soon as they are released.
Your CRM and Your CRM RO (Read Only)
Your CRM is a Native iPhone application that connects to your corporate Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 or 4.0 system. This application will then use the information stored within your corporate environment and leverage the built-in capabilities of the iPhone to give you enhanced functionality of the device with your data. This is intended to truly maximize your investment in both the iPhone and Microsoft CRM platforms.
Here is a list of key features:
- iPhone Calling - If you store Customer/Contact/Lead phone numbers, our application is capable of allowing you to either edit that information or call the intended party simply by selecting the field. (Thus eliminating the need to call the office for phone numbers...)
- iPhone Emailing - When you store an email address in an email field in CRM, Your CRM will detect the email address and open an email message to that recipient using the iPhones native email client.
- Google Maps - Your CRM handles gives you the ability to load a map to the customer's location using the build-in iPhone map functions. (No more Copy and Paste or typing those addresses into the Map app!)
- GPS Directions - We have built on the capability of the Google Maps function in the iPhone and also provide you with directions from your current GPS identified location to the customer's site. This information is updated in real time, so as you move, your map is updated.
- Customer Website Preview - When you store the customer's website address in CRM, Your CRM will navigate to that location without taking you from the app. This allows you to go back to the customer quickly without navigating through the iPhone.
- Attachment/Note Viewing - All Entities that support notes will allow you to view those notes in Your CRM. If those notes are images, or PDF's, you can view them as well. (In the 1.0 version, we do not support native viewing of Microsoft Office Documents)
- Support for Most CRM Customizations - Your company has most likely invested heavily in CRM customizations. Those custom entities are available within Your CRM along with all of their data. (Some customizations that include external site integration are not supported.)
- Multi Selection Capability - Some fields in CRM allow you to select from multiple entities. Your CRM has custom controls that allow you to select and save data from multiple entities.
- Search - You can search a list of records based on the entity and view that you are currently in. For example, if you need to lookup information on an Account called Viking,you can simply navigate to Accounts and search for Viking and you will be immediately brought to a list of Accounts that start with the word Viking.
